Whether
you live in Junction City or are a visitor, be sure and visit our two
museums! Special Festival Hours: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm This is the Lee House, found on Holly Street near the north entrance to the Festival. It was the home and office of our first doctor and every room is a re-creation of that period using antique household articles, furniture, and clothing. Walking through the Lee House is like taking a trip through time. We also have a second museum, the Pitney House which is near the Hans Christian Anderson Rose Garden. It was bequeathed to the Historical Society by Mary Pitney who lived in Junction City for over 100 years. It too is decorated with historical furnishings, but from the 30s and 40s. (Don't miss the display of old war posters upstairs!)
