  • Aebelskiver: One of the main reasons folks come to the Festival! You can watch these hollow pancake-like balls being made, then eat them with powdered sugar or jam.
  • Biff Paj: Swedish meat loaf in sour cream pastry
  • Fri-Jo: Yeast-raised deep fried Swedish pastry, rolled in cinnamon and sugar.
  • Frikadeller: (Danish) Meat or chicken formed into patties or balls. Includes Swedish style meatballs served with gravy or sour cream and chicken patties.
  • Havrenkniplekaker: A lacy Norwegian oatmeal cookie
  • Kempermessig smakaker: A giant Norwegian cookie
  • Knackerbrod: A large cracker topped with lingonberry cream cheese, smoked ham or turkey, and cheese.
  • Lefse: Danish potato-based flatbread - great with frikadeller! 
  • Limpa: A Swedish rye bread.
  • Parfait - Danish and Norwegian for ice cream
  • Pasha: A Finnish cheese cake
  • Plattar: (Swedish pancakes) Thin, egg-rich pancakes topped with lingonberry butter
  • Polse: (Finnish) Sausage or brat..
  • Rarakor: (Danish) Lacy fried potatoes.
  • Reje: Danish for shrimp
  • Runza: A yeast dough bread pocket with a filling consisting of beef, pork, cabbage or sauerkraut, onions, and seasonings.
  • Rod Kale: Danish sweet and sour cabbage
  • Rosettes: A large, crispy, deep-fried treat sprinkled sugar. 
  • Tippaleipa Finnish Funnel Cake: (Also called "bird's nest") it's a round deep-fried pastry resembling (oddly enough) a bird's nest.  
  • Vandbakkelsers: Chocolate-glazed cream puffs filled with vanilla creame. 

DAILY FARE:
Beer Garden Serves beers, wine and wine coolers along with sausages, snacks and fountain drinks.
Enjoy live music in the evening! This year they are featuring the sounds of the 50’s/60’s/70’s oldies and classic rock by Coupe de Ville on Thursday and Friday evenings from 8:30 to midnight.
Saturday at the same time  Mr. Wizard performs.

  • Great Viking Steak Sandwiches: Rib eye steak smothered in bell peppers, fresh mushrooms, and sweet onions with 2 kinds of cheese melted on a large outdoor bun.

  • Nudla Hus: Vegetable noodles and chicken on a stick. Dill stroganoff noodles, rice.
  • Paradise Shaved Ice: Authentic shaved ice that has a soft, snow-like texture. 25 hand mixed flavors made without corn syrup. Located on the corner of 6th and Holly.
  • S & C concessions: Deep fried battered vegetables, chicken and stir fry in bread bowls,. milk and berry shakes.
